On the other hand, factors of color and light have a significant impact on the level of environmental perception for individuals. This research was conducted to investigate the relationship between the factors of color and light and individuals’ personality types. This applied research was conducted using a descriptive-survey method. To examine the research hypothesis, the study was conducted in Farzag village, subordinate to Torbat-e Heydarieh county, and the sample was randomly selected from healthy individuals, both male and female with a total of 216 individuals. Data were collected through the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to identify individuals’ personality types and through individuals’ selection from simulated residential space samples; data analysis was performed in SPSS software using the Chi-square test. The results of the statistical analyses indicated a significant correlation between personality patterns and light preferences (P=0.023); this result implies that the extent of the need for natural and artificial light is a direct function of individuals’ psychological typology. However, the results regarding the color component showed a significant divergence from common theories, and no significant relationship was identified (P=0.083). This finding is interpretable; as in the studied traditional context, it appears that color choices, rather than reflecting individuals’ intra-psychic traits, are dominated by cultural patterns, customs, and the lived experience of the residents. Color preferences are not necessarily a function of personality type; rather, larger variables such as cultural contexts and vernacular architectural traditions have overshadowed individual tastes. The results indicate that the environmental perception of personality types is influenced by the light factor, and by being aware of individuals’ personality types, their tendency to use natural or artificial light in the space is determined; this tendency can be utilized in environmental design to create a space that promotes individuals’ health. تاثیر ویژگی‌های شخصیتی بر ادراک محیط، یکی از موضوعات مهم در طراحی فضاهای مسکونی است. از طرفی فاکتورهای رنگ و نور تاثیر بسزایی در میزان ادراک محیط‌ها برای افراد دارند. این پژوهش به جهت بررسی ارتباط بین رنگ و نور با تیپ‌های شخصیتی افراد انجام گرفته است. این پژوهش کاربردی به روش توصیفی پیمایشی انجام شده است. جهت بررسی فرضیه، پژوهش در روستای فرزق تابعه شهرستان تربت حیدریه، صورت گرفت و نمونه به صورت تصادفی از افراد سالم و از هر دو جنسیت مرد و زن به تعداد 216 نفر انتخاب گردید. داده‌ها از طریق پرسشنامه مایرز در جهت یافتن تیپ شخصیتی افراد و انتخاب افراد از نمونه‌های شبیه‌سازی فضای مسکونی گردآوری شد و تحلیل داده‌ها در نرم افزار SPSS با استفاده از آزمون کای دو، صورت پذیرفته است. نتایج تحلیل‌های آماری این پژوهش بیانگر همبستگی معنادار میان الگوهای شخصیتی و ترجیحات نوری بوده است (P=0/023)؛ این نتیجه بدین معنا می‌باشد که میزان نیاز به نور طبیعی و مصنوعی تابع مستقیمی از تیپولوژی روانی افراد می‌باشد، با این حال، نتایج در خصوص مولفه رنگ، واگرایی قابل توجهی نسبت به تئوری‌های رایج نشان داده و رابطه معناداری مشخص نشد (P=0/083). این یافته به نوعی تفسیرپذیر است؛ چراکه در بافت سنتی مورد مطالعه، به نظر می‌رسد انتخاب‌های رنگی بیش از آنکه بازتاب‌دهنده ویژگی‌های درون روانی افراد باشد، تحت سیطره الگوهای فرهنگی، عرفی و تجربه‌زیسته ساکنین قرار دارد. ترجیحات رنگی لزوماً تابع تیپ شخصیتی نیستند، بلکه متغیرهای کلان‌تری همچون زمینه‌های فرهنگی و سنت‌های معماری بومی بر سلایق فردی سایه افکنده‌اند. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که ادراک محیطی تیپ‌های شخصیتی تحت تاثیر عامل نور می‌باشد و با آگاهی از نوع تیپ شخصیتی افراد، گرایش آنها به استفاده از نور طبیعی یا مصنوعی در فضا مشخص گردیده و از آن گرایش می‌توان در طراحی محیطی بهره برد تا فضایی در جهت ارتقای سلامت افراد ایجاد نمود. https://smb.yazd.ac.ir/article_4102_e0cce3dc01369d4e6c59c940ce773eda.pdf
